Parks/RecreationScattered throughout the community are eight parks offering year round activities for the entire family. Riverview Park hosts the free Concerts in the Park summer series, the annual Art in the Park, Tucker Pool, Flushing Community Fun Zone Playground, Movies in the Park and a pavilion for families' and organizations' get togethers. Flushing Township Nature Park is located on McKinley Rd. just three quarters of a mile north of Mt. Morris Rd. This park on the river has 135 acres of beautiful land. A pavilion, restrooms, and paved parking are available for patrons while enjoying horse back riding, biking, jogging, cross-country skiing, and many other activities. In addition, immediately adjacent to the City of Flushing on McKinley Rd. is the Genesee County operated 105 acre Flushing County Park which offers extensively developed picnicking facilities with shelters that can be reserved, day camping, ball fields, play equipment, tennis and basketball courts.
