2008 Information
The Flushing Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor The 8th Annual Flushing Walleye Festival, March 7-9, 2008 based out of Flushing VFW Post 5666. The VFW Post is located at 606 N. McKinley Road, north of Main Street, across from Flushing County Park.

• A three-day walleye fishing tournament.
• VFW Post 5666 will be hosting a fish fry on Friday (4:00-7:00 PM).
• Flushing Fire Fighters will host a Pancake Breakfast to raise funds D.A.R.E. on Saturday (7:30 - 11:00 AM).
• Trout Pond Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
• "Snakes, Reptiles and Amphibian Presentation" Saturday at 12:00 Noon.

Anglers may obtain an entry form from Flushing area merchants or at the Chamber office, 133 E. Main Street, (located downtown Flushing) or on-line (Entry Form ). Entry fees for the three-day event are 16 and under, $3.00, 17 and older $7.50 in advance, $10.00 during the event. Contact the Flushing Chamber of Commerce at 810.659.4141 for additional information.
